CAMBRIDGEON · COLLEGIATE
The collegiate system
Every matriculated student is a member of a college. The college tutor follows academic progress. Subject teaching sits in the faculty. Intellectual accountability sits in the college. Online students receive the same membership, with supervisions held by video on the UK timetable.
This page does not list college names, coats of arms, or formal halls. A college appears in the record when the University has constituted it. Until then, membership is described as a duty of the system, not as a borrowed set of houses.
Matriculation
A college is assigned at offer, whether the student will live on Milton Road or study online.
Supervision
Small-group or individual teaching is attached to the paper. Written work is returned. The supervision is Cambridgeon’s, held under Cambridgeon’s regulations.
Research group
From the research degree, a named group and a lead are published on the research pages when that group exists.
Address for residence: Cambridge Science & Academic Park, Milton Road, Cambridge CB4 0GZ.
